Yes – if you book a rental period at least 4 business days in advance, you will receive a binding booking confirmation immediately after checkout. No long waiting for a response, no lack of transparency: you immediately have the assurance that the device is reserved for you for the desired period and is available. This distinguishes RentOn from traditional rental companies, where you often have to wait for an individual offer. For shorter-term bookings (under 4 business days), confirmation is subject to change as availability still needs to be checked.
Yes, multiple devices can be rented simultaneously. You can select the desired quantity per device type during the booking process.
Cancellations and changes are possible as long as the delivery has not yet been ordered. We will check this individually for you. Please contact our customer service as early as possible.

You can choose between two payment methods:
- Credit card: Amount will be charged directly at checkout
- Purchase on account: Payment within 30 days of delivery; processed via our partner Billie
For purchase on account, Billie automatically performs a credit check in the background. If purchase on account is not available to you, please switch to credit card or contact customer service.

The rental price is composed of the following items:
- Base rental price – daily rate
- Service fee – one-time payment of €100 per rental
- Delivery costs – depending on distance.
All items are shown transparently at checkout – before completion, with no hidden costs. The service fee covers, among other things, contractual indemnification – i.e., protection against damage during normal operation. Normal wear and tear will not be charged; in case of damage, you only pay the deductible. More on this in the FAQ Damages & Service
This depends on your chosen payment method:
- Credit card: The amount will be charged directly upon checkout completion.
- Invoice (Billie): You will receive an invoice after delivery with a payment term of 30 days from the date of delivery.
The checkout amount includes the basic rental price, service fee, and delivery costs. Everything you see upfront. Anything else afterward?
Only in exceptional cases: If damage occurs during the rental period that goes beyond normal wear and tear, the deductible will be billed separately. This does not happen automatically – but only if a specific claim occurs.
RentOn is the brand and platform through which you book your rental device. The rental is legally handled by BM TestTech Solutions UG – therefore, this will be shown as the contractual partner/invoice issuer at checkout (e.g. for payment processing via Billie). For you, nothing changes regarding the process or service from RentOn.
To confirm your order directly, it will be briefly checked by our payment service provider during the booking process. If the check is not approved for various reasons, please pay alternatively by credit card or contact customer service.
Important: RentOn unfortunately has no direct influence on the specific verification mechanisms of the payment service provider.
The earliest delivery date is 4 business days after booking. If you need the device at shorter notice, an express booking may be possible – this is subject to confirmation and may incur an additional charge.
Delivery costs are calculated based on the distance to your location. You'll see the exact amount clearly during the booking process – before checkout, with no hidden fees.
Upon delivery and collection, the condition of the equipment is documented and compared. Here's how it works:
Upon delivery – acceptance of the equipment:
- Check the equipment for visible damage or defects immediately upon acceptance.
- Have all discrepancies recorded in the protocol before signing. By signing, you confirm the documented condition.
Upon collection – return of the equipment:
- Ensure that the equipment is accessible, complete, and roughly cleaned (for details, see "In what condition do I need to return the equipment?").
- The condition will be documented upon collection.
Our recommendation for both cases: Take photos of the equipment's condition yourself upon delivery and collection – this provides you with additional security for any future inquiries.
Delivery will be carried out by our partner Jungheinrich. Therefore, you will see Jungheinrich as the sender on the delivery documents – this is correct and part of our service process. RentOn remains your contractual partner.
Yes. During the booking process, you choose your preferred delivery date and a preferred time slot (morning or afternoon). We try to meet this deadline. If this is not possible, we will contact you in good time to arrange an alternative.
If no one is available at the time of delivery or pickup, we will arrange a new delivery date with you. Please note: Additional costs may arise for a renewed attempt. To avoid this, we recommend providing a reliable contact person and a suitable time slot during the booking process.
The device must be ready for collection by the agreed return date. Please ensure that the following points are met:
- Accessibility: The device must be freely accessible to the transport vehicle and ready for collection without obstructions.
- Accessories: All supplied equipment – such as chargers and attachments – must be included in its entirety.
- Keys & Documents: Vehicle keys and accompanying documents must be left with the device or at a pre-arranged location.
- Cleanliness: The device must be roughly cleaned and free of any self-applied stickers or markings.
- Charge Level: For electrical devices, a charge level of at least 20% must be ensured.
Normal signs of use are not an issue.
Yes, an extension is possible. Please contact our customer service in good time before the agreed return date – we will check availability and extend the rental at the previous daily rate. Please note: Without an active extension request, the device will be considered overdue from the original return date.

Yes – and without a deposit or separate insurance. The rental price already includes a contractual liability waiver. This means that if damage occurs to the equipment during the rental period – even due to operating errors or clumsiness of your personnel – RentOn will cover the repair or replacement. Normal wear and tear is not charged. Scratches, minor wear, or small damages during regular operation are not considered a damage event. In the case of actual damage – i.e., damage that goes beyond normal wear and tear – you only pay the deductible. The amount can be found transparently for each vehicle category during the booking process. All details regarding deductibles, exclusions, and the damage claim process can be found in the FAQ Damages & Service.
The agreed rental period is binding. A reduction in the rental period can be requested, but the obligation to pay rent for the originally agreed period remains.
The device may only be operated by instructed persons authorized by your company for this purpose. Different requirements apply depending on the device:
- Forklifts: A forklift license is generally required.
- Walk-behind devices (e.g., pallet trucks, stackers): No forklift license is required, but documented instruction is mandatory.
The device may not be passed on or transferred to third parties outside your company.
Please use the device exclusively for its intended purpose and adhere to the instructions in the operating manual. Perform a brief visual inspection daily – checking for damage, anomalies, or malfunctions. If you notice a defect or malfunction, please contact us immediately.

The rental price standardly includes single-shift use of up to 8 operating hours per calendar day. If you wish to use the equipment more intensively, you can select 2-shift operation (up to 16 hours per day) during equipment configuration on the product page, which will increase the daily rental price by a small amount.
Contact RentOn customer service immediately. The service partner will organize a solution as quickly as possible - either an on-site repair or a device replacement.
Yes – and without a deposit or separate insurance. Contractual liability exemption is already included in the rental price. This means: If damage occurs to the equipment during the rental period – even due to operating errors or clumsiness of your staff – RentOn will cover the repair or replacement. In the event of damage, you only pay an excess, the amount of which varies depending on the vehicle category. Normal signs of use are not charged. Scratches, minor wear and tear, or small damages that occur during regular operation are not considered damage – you will not be charged for these. The excess only applies to actual damage that goes beyond normal wear and tear. You can see the applicable excess for your equipment transparently during the ordering process and again in your order confirmation.
The indemnity is not an insurance product but a contractual agreement between you and RentOn. It protects you from the full repair costs if the device is damaged during the rental period. How it works: If damage occurs, RentOn will cover the repair or replacement of the device. You only pay the deductible – a fixed amount per claim, which varies depending on the vehicle category. The amount of the deductible is clearly stated for each vehicle category: in the ordering process and in your order confirmation. There are no hidden costs.
The liability waiver covers damage to the device that can occur during normal operation – including:
- Operating errors
- Clumsiness in everyday work
- Accidents without intent or gross negligence
In short: As long as the damage was not caused intentionally or by gross negligence, you are protected and will only pay the deductible.
The exemption from liability does not apply to:
- Intent – intentional damage to the device
- Loss, destruction or theft – in these cases, you are fully liable for the replacement value.
- Gross negligence – e.g., obviously improper use outside of permitted usage
- Breach of contract
In these cases, additional costs may arise. If you are unsure whether a specific use is permitted, please ask us before using the device – we will be happy to clarify.
